The theme for the Weimaraner Rescue Quilt this year is “The Versatile Weimaraner.” Each of the quilt ladies chose a category to illustrate- mine was tracking. This image is the quintessential Weim photo, IMHO. I used PC Stitch 7 to create a cross stitch pattern, I think I had 50 colors in the piece.
The cross stitch is done over waste canvas, on black broadcloth. After the needlework is complete, washing gently removes the starch from the waste canvas and you pull it out thread by thread.
